Accountant - Immediate Requirement

A company in Ahmadi, Kuwait is hiring a detail oriented accountant for its finance team. The role supports day to day financial operations, maintains accurate financial records and assists in financial reporting. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. - Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Kuwait. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred) and good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. - Good analytical and organisational skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy of financial records. - Prepare and post routine journal entries. - Support accounts payable and receivable including invoice verification and payment follow ups. - Perform basic account reconciliations and report discrepancies to senior team members. - Assist in monitoring expenses, payroll inputs and other financial transactions. - Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records. - Support the finance team during internal and external audits. - Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules. - Maintain accounting records in ERP systems. - Perform other accounting duties assigned by the senior accountant or finance manager.
