E-Commerce Developer (WordPress, WooCommerce & Shopify) – Full-Time Job in Sharq, Kuwait A company in Sharq, Kuwait is hiring an experienced E-Commerce Developer with strong expertise in WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify - Create and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON templates - Build and manage landing pages, campaign pages, product pages, and promotional sections - Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, ERP, and third-party apps via APIs - Optimize websites for speed, mobile performance, SEO, and conversion rates - Implement tracking tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel - Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, theme issues, and performance problems Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify - Shopify Liquid, sections, blocks, metafields, and custom templates - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design - WordPress theme customization, plugin configuration, and basic PHP - API integrations and third-party platform connections - SEO best practices and website speed optimization - Git or other version control tools Preferred Skills: - Shopify Plus experience - Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg page builders - Knowledge of Odoo, ERP, or order management integrations - Familiarity with Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and Hotjar - Experience in retail, electronics, auto parts, or jewellery e-commerce Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or Software Engineering - 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify development - Strong portfolio of live e-commerce websites preferred Interested candidates may send their updated resume to: careers@burhantec.com
