House Cook Job in Kuwait

A private household in Kuwait City, Kuwait is hiring a live-in house cook specialising in Asian cuisine, with visa, airfare and accommodation sponsored by the employer. Requirements: - Age: 25-35 years - Must be able to speak, read and write English - Proven experience preparing a wide variety of Asian cuisine, particularly rice dishes - Must be willing to live in the employer's shared staff accommodation - Working hours based on the household's daily schedule; flexibility is essential - Comfortable working as part of a team - Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Honest, trustworthy, well-organized and respectful - Able to maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in a private villa, residence, palace or similar domestic environment - Able to prepare Arabic cuisine in addition to Asian cuisine - Experience serving VIP or high-profile households - Able to adapt to different cuisines and learn new recipes quickly Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a variety of Asian dishes, with strong knowledge of rice-based meals - Plan and prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages as required - Prepare meals according to the family's preferences and dietary requirements - Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen cleanliness - Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of food ingredients - Assist with menu planning and suggest new dishes when appropriate - Work closely with the other cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Manage food preparation efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation - Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times within the household Salary & Benefits: - Salary: KD 150-200 per month, depending on experience and skills - Paid leave: up to two months every two years, subject to the employer's operational requirements and mutual agreement on timing - Free accommodation - All meals provided - Domestic employment visa sponsored by the employer - Airfare to Kuwait provided upon selection - All employment-related expenses covered by the employer How to Apply: Submit an updated CV, a sample menu showcasing the dishes you can prepare including specialties and signature meals, and recent photographs of 3-5 dishes you have prepared (preferred but not mandatory).
