A company in Kuwait is hiring an experienced HSE Safety Engineer to join its team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
- Additional safety certifications will be an advantage
- Transferable residency
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct HSE induction and safety training for employees, subcontractors and visitors
- Perform workplace safety inspections and identify hazards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, fire drills and evacuation procedures
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses to identify root causes
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems
- Coordinate third-party certification of lifting accessories and fire extinguisher inspections
