Safety Officer Needed – Kuwait

A company in Kuwait is seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. The role involves implementing HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting site inspections, and building a strong safety culture across all operations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and HSE audits - Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions - Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Kuwait local safety regulations - Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports - Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions - Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety compliance on-site - Maintain HSE records, work permits, and documentation - Support emergency preparedness and response planning - Coordinate with management to continuously improve safety performance Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field - NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent recognised HSE certification - Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a Safety Officer role - Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk assessment methodologies - Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Valid Kuwait Driving License is an advantage Salary: 450 KD per month Benefits: - Competitive salary package - Career growth and professional development opportunities - Training and upskilling support How to Apply: Send your CV to: recruitment@tanzifco.com
