Shipping & Logistics Officer – Hawally, Kuwait

A company in Hawally, Kuwait is hiring a highly motivated and experienced Shipping & Logistics Officer to coordinate international and local shipments and manage end-to-end logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and land - Manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers - Prepare and review shipping documents: Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Customs Documentation - Track shipments and provide regular status updates to management and clients - Negotiate freight rates and logistics contracts to achieve cost savings - Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements - Coordinate warehouse, transportation, and delivery schedules - Resolve shipping delays, claims, and logistics-related issues - Maintain accurate shipping records and logistics reports - Support procurement and supply chain activities when required Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations - Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP), and customs clearance processes - Experience handling sea freight containers, air freight, and land transportation - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems - Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software is an advantage - Knowledge of container booking, cargo consolidation, and freight cost analysis preferred - Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage Salary: 300 KD per month How to Apply: WhatsApp your CV to: +965 65795458
