Urgent Vacancy: Driver cum Purchaser

A company in Kuwait is hiring a driver cum purchaser responsible for procuring day-to-day materials, spares and supplies for its Workshop, Transport, Maintenance and Office departments from local markets and vendors, while also handling related transportation duties. Requirements: - Valid Kuwait driving license (light vehicle) - Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar purchase and driving combined role, preferably in an industrial or workshop environment - Familiarity with local markets, hardware shops and spare parts suppliers in Kuwait - Basic knowledge of purchase documentation including quotations, invoices and receipts - Good communication skills; Arabic and English preferred - Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to handle petty cash responsibly Key Responsibilities: - Purchase workshop consumables, spare parts, tools and materials as per approved purchase requisitions - Buy transport department items such as vehicle spares and consumables, and maintenance-related materials and supplies - Procure general office supplies and stationery as needed - Collect price quotations from local vendors and hardware shops and report to the Purchase Officer for approval - Ensure purchased items are accompanied by proper invoices and receipts for accounting - Deliver purchased materials to the respective department or storekeeper and obtain acknowledgment - Maintain a log of daily purchases, expenses and receipts submitted - Drive the company vehicle safely to markets, vendor locations and suppliers - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, and ensure registration and insurance documents are up to date - Report any discrepancies in pricing, quality or vendor reliability to the Purchase Manager Salary & Benefits: - Salary: 150-170 KD How to Apply: Contact: +965 51229615
