Senior Accountant – Alcantara Holding, Kuwait

Alcantara Holding is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant with strong exposure to monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles - Work closely with team members to support the month-end close - Research and analyse expense variances for company management - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Ensure timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities - Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports - Assist in financial planning and performance analysis to support business strategy - Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements - Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency - Monitor and control the company's accounts receivable - Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial insights for business development Requirements: - 3 or more years of professional accounting experience - Bilingual in Arabic and English - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience) - CFA certification preferred How to Apply: Email your CV to: people@alcantaraholding.com
